Disappointment!!!I was badly surprised today taking away dinner from them, when I realised the the dishes became so small.I was still hungry after the dinner.I am not going back there if they think they can charge the same and provide much less.

In Amsterdam for work and this place was close to our hotel so we decided to give it a try!

Right off the bat the service was great – the server was really helpful in navigating the menu and helping with suggestions.

The ambiance is cozy and warm and we felt very comfortable the whole meal.

Our party landed on two orders of Pad Suey (they use much smaller noodles than we are use to) but everyone agreed it was just a good! I had the red vegetable curry with rice. Very tasty…it also felt a little more healthy (less rich) than I am use to from the U.S.

Would come here again when in town next!

Als inwoner van Bangkok, weet ik wel wat Thai’s eten is en kan ik natuurlijk wel beoordelen of het identiek is als “thuis” en ik moet constateren dat ze niet alleen Thais’s spreken (zoals ik) maar ook echt Thai’s kunnen koken. Could not be happier. The staff were amazing and smiling always. Food was very good and wine filled to brim. Had the fish cake and squid with basil. Next time will ask for more basil. Staff makes it!! Very busy so expect for wait but worth the wait.

Heerlijk en beetje bijzonder gegeten (eend en phad Thai). Supervriendelijk personeel. Was lang niet hier geweest en heb daar spijt van!

We went here during the week and it wasn't real busy, only about half the tables were occupied. We ordered appetizers, soup and a main, and the timing on the dishes was perfect. The soups I thought were spicier then the 1 star heating rating, while the mains were less spicy then the menu lead you to believe, but despite this all the food was delicious. The service was a bit frantic as the waitress also worked the kitchen, but still friendly and helpful. Would definitly go back.

Been back every year at IBC time since being introduced to this resturant.
Food is incredibly fresh and flavorful and basically cooked in front of you or at least in plain site. Its not far from the Okura where my company stays every year and I always "sneak" away for some of it.

This visit I had Spring Rolls, Pad Thai, and Chicken Fried Rice- I packed and left with approx 50% of what I was served boxed up, and it made for a great late nite meal at the hotel.

The Pad Thai was superb, crunchy veggies, fresh onion, and egg with the right amount of meat, the noodles had justest right amount of firmness. Fantastic.

Rice- Same, superb. Spring rolls, excellent.

The portions are generous, (and Im an American) and I've never left hungry.

Bring cash –

If you are in Amsterdam its worth the walk, ride, or cab to try it.

Lekker Thais gegeten, bediening was prettig en snel. Ik had de groene curry met kip, Thaise groenten en rijst. Het was voldoende maar niet een overdreven grote portie.
Aankleding was Ok, niet echt gezellig, maar het eten maakte veel goed.

Ottimo ristorante Thai ad Amsterdam, le zuppe sono fantastiche, buoni anche i padthai, ed i piatti in abbinamento alle pietanze con il curry. Prezzo onesto, è possibile cenare all’esterno del locale.

Goed Thai’s eten , vriendelijke bediening.Zeker de moeite waard. Prijs kwaliteit is hier zeker goed.Hou er rekening mee, betalen cash of bankkaart. Geen krediet kaard. Gelukkig zit een pin om de hoek.

The staff has limited English, but very hospitable. Coconut curry dishes were absolutely amazing! The Exotic Thai decor is very tasteful. Excellent value for money.The only drawback is that they don’t take credit card, do prepare some cash for your visit.

We’ve eaten here over the years and it is a neighborhood staple! We often order to go and get pad thai and green curry. The pad thai is on the drier side (less saucy) which is just how we like it. Eating in is also fun with a nice dining area and also the kitchen up front!

Stopped by Saturday at around 8:30pm and it was not very busy. The food was delicious. One of the better pad thais that I’ve had! We also ordered #162 (don’t remember the name, but it is beef with onions, mushrooms, and chilis) and I liked that too. We decided to make this our Go To Thai place.

Sfeer klein restaurant, heerlijk eten !

Bij dit restaurant haal ik al jaren Thais. Het is erg klein maar wil je echt Thais eten moet je hier zijn. Naast erg vriendelijk personeel is het eten echt super.
Vind de prijs soms een beetje aan de hoge kant maar de kwaliteit maakt het goed.
Erg jammer dat ze hun restaurant in Amstelveen hebben gesloten.
Geen geld om naar Thailand te gaan ga dan hier heen het komt het dichtste bij in de buurt van de Thaise ervaring.

De curry was goed. De sate werd niemand blij van en de pad thai was ook medium.

Heerlijke maaltijden voor een goeie prijs. In mijn ogen het beste thaise restaurant in Amsterdam. Voor een ieder die geen zin heeft om te koken een top uitkomst om of te halen of snel een hapje te gaan eten.

Voor €40,- aan Thais eten gehaald bij deze tent. Eerste en laatste keer! Groente is zo groot en rauw, KrabPauw zou ik besteld hebben. Ik krijg toaal wat anders. Komt niet eens in de buurt. Ananas in de currie, echt not done ook!

Friendly staff, took us without a reservation at peak dinner hours on a Saturday night. Unfortunately the service is incredibly slow- you can see into the kitchen so you'll notice they have a ridiculous number of take out orders. That's all fine but that plus the lack of staff (one waiter for the entire restaurant from 6:30-8pm!) makes it way too slow. 5-10 mins for a menu, 20 mins to take our order another 30-40 mins for food to come out. Then the food was ok, not mind blowing at all. Under spiced. Saw food come out piping hot- our red curry did but the spring rolls were lukewarm. The latter was better than the former though. Friendly staff but I wouldn't come back.

I love it. My friend had mixed opinions. It was too spicy for her but many things are.
It' a small place so it smells great and really works up your appetite. The kitchen it right up front. It's clean and fun to watch the cooks at work.
I've tried a couple of the vegetarian dishes and always enjoyed them.
I've always liked the coconut ice cream served in a coconut shell but the last time we ordered it looked old and freezer burned like it had been sitting in the back of fridge for months. When we pointed it out they were quite nice, and apologized saying it was the last one but didn't charge us for it.

Cute atmosphere but service was just okay and my Pad Thai tasted burnt. Chicken satays didn’t have much flavor. I wouldn’t return.

Authentiek Thais eten, vers gekookt, vers en smakelijk, ik begrijp niet waarom niemand dit restaurant kent? Ik hoop dat meer mensen ervoor kunnen kiezen om de groene curry kiprijst, Thaise garnalen gebakken rijst, heel goed te proberen👍❤️

Heel gezellig en heerlijke cuisine! De medewerkers zijn gastvrije en de keuken was heel leker! Een aanrader in Amsterdam!! Haartelijk bedankt!

i'm soo happy there's a yummy thai place in my hood! my litmus test for a good thai restaurant is their pad thai. i'm happy to say their pad thai is delicious. the sauce is wonderful and squeeze a lime all over that and it's even better. i also got the basic thai salad with chicken. it wasn't the typical green papaya salad but just a lettuce salad with veggies and chicken. the salad itself is nothing special, they use iceburg. BUT… the dressing on it is out of this world. i was almost going to ask if i could buy some of it. it turned an ordinary salad into something unforgettable. i like the coziness of this place. it's not large but not to small with a wood interior and exterior. they have a full bar too! the kitchen is up front right when you walk in which is very smart. you're immediately hit with the fragrance of thai food. i wouldn't say this place is good for large groups but for 2-6 ppl tops.
the staff and chefs are all very friendly. when i'm in the mood for thai and i don't want to venture to far from home this is the place. they also do a lot of to go orders. i made sure to get a to go menu for those nights you just want to oink out at home 🙂

The absolute _Best_Thai_ in Amsterdam!

I have been to many thai restaurants in amsterdam, and this is the one i keep coming back to.
The staff is very ! friendly, the atmosphere is excellent. The open kitchen is on the left when u enter the restaurant. The ladies in the kitchen work very hard, and the food they produce is just top notch.
You can reserve a table (dont forget, as it is very busy most of the times!) or order food to take home. No delivery unfortunately.
Please do go to this Thai restaurant if you love Thai food, their tom Kha Khai is yummmmie!!

This has been our favorite Thai in Holland for about a decade now. The one dish you have to try – as we’ve found it to be one of the best ever – is Pad Thai: thin noodles, own recipe for fish sauce, spicy yet super flavorful, not oily but “dry” yet stir fried. When you check other reviewers you’ll see the Pad Thai mentioned often. That’s for a reason.Super nice & sweet people, great service, and very hard working. Love them!

Couldn’t have gotten better food even in Thailand, we had a 5 course meal, and everything was truly authentic.

First–I am not comparing this to actual Thai food, I came here fully expecting subpar interpretation of mass produced Thai food for Westerners–it is awful by that standard. It is awful by the standard of what I would expect to be served on a discount Asian airline. Expect parang curry without sauce. Or pad Thai without peanuts or spring rolls without any filling…it's the Thai food equivalent of what can be microwaved. Here's the best part–when we told them it wa bad. They said it was my problem. They should apologize the the kind people Thailand for making their food so bad.

Kip cashew was heerlijk. Rode curry ook erg lekker. Gegeten in het restaurant.

I order Laab Kai and Tom Yak Plaa for takeaway. The people in the restaurant were extremely friendly, typical Thai. The food was wonderful, the Laab Kai could have used a bit more fish sauce. I would give 4,5 stars if possible but as that’s not possible -> 5 stars.

Loved this place! Came here because we were nearby & based on previous yelp reviews. Delicious!!! It's a small restaurant…only 2 cooks (that are right in front of you) and one server. Lots of people coming in for take away. If you come with a larger party it might take a bit to get everyone's meal but it's totally worth it. Lady serving tables was workin' her butt off and very sweet. Go & enjoy!

I’ve had dinner here and ordered takeaway numerous times. The food is tasty and reasonably priced with more authentic flavors than what you often encounter in Amsterdam. The interior is a bit old but charming and the atmosphere very relaxed. The service is friendly. My only issue is that servings of rice are a bit small and I think it’s odd to charge for extra but it’s not a big deal.

I’ve come here 3 separate times on 3 separate trips. Every time fantastic.

Food tasted ok, although very small potions for that price. What we were very borher about was that we were waiting more that 1 hour for the food and we kept seeing delivery orders going out from our table. So in the hours we were waiting for the food more than 10 orders went out to be delivered.. staff is friendly but not coming back definetly.

My boyfriend and I went here for dinner last night and it was some of the best Thai food we have ever had. What we ordered: Tom Kha soup (they made it veggie for us), Shrimp Salad, Pad Thai Veggie and Plaa Pad Namprik-Phauw (Fish with curry sauce, paprika and onion). It was all really delicious and we couldn't stop saying how good it was throughout the meal. We requested it spicy and they made it with the perfect amount of heat. The waiter also brought us some chili oil (didn't need the oil but it was a great flavor) just in case we needed to add more. He also told us that if it was already too spicy for us to let him know and they would make it again for us (appreciated but not needed). All of the food was full of flavor and not oily. We will definitely be heading back here for more!

My favorite Thai in Amsterdam! Delicious food and very kind and fast service. Great range of options, varying from chicken with ginger and mushrooms to deer or wild boar to vegetarian dishes. All served with a genuine Thai smile!

Aangename ontdekking: goed eten, breed assortiment en aardig personeel

After some very disappointing Indonesian food, I was really hoping to have at least one good Asian meal in Amsterdam before I left.
This is THE place – ordered the green curry with prawns extra spicy. It was perfect!
I was drinking the leftover gravy after devouring everything else. And coconut ice cream which was ok.
So glad I found this place and gave it a shot.
Super nice server – family run so might be a bit of a wait to take your order and for the food to show up. But totally worth it.

Really nice meal – wasn’t sure what to expect but the red and green curries were delish and the staff super friendly

Authentic restaurant and food. Good quality. Service is this case was pretty bad, delivered wrong choice (chicken vs Shrimp). Waiter appeared very pushy, almost aggressive and unfriendly when he wanted to close restaurant. This should be improved!
